Invoicing software

Anyone know of any good free if possible simply invoicing software , I dont need to bill by the hour just track the inv numbers in sequence . Many thanks in advance

Not my thing but have a look at freshbooks.com. There seems to be a free option, go to pricing tab and have a read.
