Toyota Avensis? Recommendations?

Lads,

Big fan of the threads and just posting for the first time as I'm looking to dispose of the old Corolla.

I'm looking for some advice. I'm looking to buy a new car. I was thinking of an Avensis, but want to get peoples opinions before I purchase. I went to see this car last week and it seems fairly decent. My budget is about 20k.
What does everyone think? Do ye think its a good deal, he's willing to accept around 20k I think. Anyone have past experiences re MPG etc.

Ah im not suprised, they're a great machine to go, the one i have on the go is great, but bringing it round the farm has it bet. What part of the country are ya, just incase the deal falls through?

I will give you the same model Avensis with 20,000km less for the Corolla and 5 grand. I need to off load my Avensis Fast

Put a 88 Jetta engine into the Corolla and forget about the Avensis. You would pull a ton and a half around the field with that animal

Mac, I'm not after the Avensis, I'm after a Corolla. The problem with mine is the rust. I could hardly bring hay around in a nice looking Avensis. The Jetta is a good auld wagon also mind
