NSAI REFUSE COMPLAINT

    some time ago i complained about a paticular ad on tv

    i gave time date and what i found offensive about the ad

    i duly filled in the online complaints form being as concise as i could

    they [nsai] responded that they were not going to take my complaint anywhere as they only received 2 complaints about the ad
    and more or less go away dont be annoying us..
    i re emailed and asked how many do you need to look seriously into a complaint
    100 200 2000 they never responded

    its like the ould sh1te they trot out
    your the first to complain??
    can i go any further with my complaint or is that it????

    That's it.

    They do publish stats from time to time, stating how many complaints an ad gets before they act.

    I think it's in the hundreds (100-200) before they will even consider it.

    Out of curiosity, what was the ad for/about and what was your complaint? Just wondering.

    You should seek the advice of a legal professional should you wish to take the matter further. See forum charter please.
