    Hi,

AM I correct in thinking that there was no PAYE exemption for persons under 65 on low incomes for the 2010 tax year?
The only documentation on the revenue website relates to 2011, and even at that it only references single, married and widowed people over 65

    Thanks

The marginal relief still applied in 2010- see the first heading after the list of links on this page

    EDIT:

My apologies- I misread your post. That link refers to over 65's.

There was no special relief for under 65's. All income is taxed but if your tax credits are enough to eliminate the PAYE, you'll pay no tax. However, in 2010, the income levy and some PRSI/health would still be payable.
