Full crew picking up in Glanmire this morning. I had noticed the field last week and thought that there was great growth there. I did not expect this early.

Saw Claas Murphy picking up paddocks for Tim O Leary near Blarney last week. Lots of guys ready to go once it clears.

No sign of anything stirring here - indeed grass growth is a bit behind normal which is not suprising really given all the pretty cool/cold, dry weather we've had up till recently:(

ya crops light enough all the time down my way, if the weather picked up again might be a spurt of growth, like winter every evening down our way, quite cold

Same as that here in East Galway. Temps have fallen back from 17 to 10C so I'm sure ground temps have fallen back aswel.

It's more like feb weather here with the bite that's in the breeze. Still I'm optimistic that I will be cutting a little earlier than most years. Usually June bank holiday.
