Try talkford.com , there's loads of info on there. Watch out for rust on the bootom inside of the doors. Make sure all the injectors in the engine are working as this can be a problem. Clutch depends on person driving the car before. Drop links in the suspension will need to be repalced if not already done and the handbrake cables tend to get sticky after a few years and would need to be repalced. Try and get yourself a ghia or zetec s model as they're much nicer spec.

You have to be a bit careful buying a tdci like most other modern diesels as if someone has put ****e diesel in it over time the injectors will fail and most likely the high pressure fuel system too. Could cost 1500euro to fix

Apparently there have been the most problems with 130bhp unit so the 115bhp would be a safer bet. Check honestjohn.co.uk for a list of common failures. Being a ford parts are very cheap to source and easily available

Dual mass flywheel has been known to give problems in these and is something one should look for. Best advice is make sure it has service history , read it and see what has been replaced. ;)

Dmf is the same as all the rest of diesels and it's a case of luck of the draw as it may go early or it may go later. Try and get an 04 model over an 02 as they did iron a few small issues over the first few years. When the clutch needs doing it's recomended to do the flywheel on high milers.
If there is a vibriation in the clutch and in the stick on gear change this means both clutch or flywheel could need changing. The injectors would be more a problem to watch out for than the dmf.
