How about a spelling mod???

Does the amount of spelling mistakes on the site annoy anyone else, or am I just being a pedantic nerd?

There's a thread I read this morning (won't say where for fear of another banning!) where a guy who's on about setting up his own business wants to get people's "taughts" on something!! (and he's not the only one on here with a spelling problem)

Is it right that there's not a chance I would want to do business with him?

I bet OP spent about an hour making sure his post had been eradicated from any spelling mistakes.

So basically you want to ban people who might be dyslexic. Text speak is the only thing that should be banned from any website.

    Yes your pedantic

The three question marks were unnecessary.

Kind of ironic that you're complaining about bad spelling, but all I see is bad grammar.

Yes I do think you are acting like a pedantic nerd !!! People continue to confuse education with intelligence. I have a friend who cannot spell and reads badly. He runs a business and employs six people and is still going well in this recession. There are a hell of a lot of good spellers and educated folks out there wondering what they can do to make a few euro. So perhaps a little tolerance and read you man's taughts might help you :D:D
P.S My friend doesn't even know what dyslexia is and is doing fine !

I think you might mean "any spelling mistakes eradicated from his post"

    Pedantically,

OP that's the great thing about boards, it caters to everyone, even the most pedantic among us (i.e. your good self). There's a whole spell czech forum for like-minded folk, you can contact Tar.Aldarion and request access. Just do a search for Avril Lavigne and click on one of the threads, Tar will most likely crop up there somewhere.
