Holiday Pay- Am I entitled?

    Hi guys,
    I worked full time for 8 months last year in the restaurant business on a weekly wage per hour. However, over the winter months i have worked less, about 8 hours a week. I have been with the company 18 months and i have only got one weeks holiday pay (40) hours. Am I entitled to more and how do I calculate this? I don't trust my employers to tell me the truth :rolleyes:

    You are entitled to 20days holidays a year minimum unless your contract entitles you to more.

    The value of those 20 days in wages can be calculated in various ways each to the individual means and contract.

    The easiest calculation is 8% of the hours worked multiplied by your hourly rate determines your weekly holiday pay.
