Wanted: Clips for kitchen sink

Recently I had to replace the counter units in our kitchen and when I was taking out the old sink 9which was to be re-used), I noticed that it had no clips to hold it down.
Anyhow, I've tried to get hold of some and nowhere seems to sell them separately from an actual sink apart from B&Q (I've tried loads of places including Chadwicks.

Maybe its our sink but the B&Q ones don't fit it. The sink has a fold that comes down then out and up whereas the B&Q clips seem to expect a fold of metal coming downwards. I don't know how the one pictured stayed on but out of 6, its the only one that did.

    Mine...

The lip on mine is like this one but not as far away from the sink (if you follow what I mean)

Is it possible to get hold of clips in this country (without getting a free sink)?

Your clips are common, i'm sure some of the larger DIY stores would have some sinks with the same clips, parting them fromthe sink will be your problem. Try your local tip, most scrap sinks will still have their clip on them.
    Good luck.

Was going to say that. A scrap merchants might have the clips still on the sink.

If your near guinesses though i would try DPL in kilmainham first.

Hi, I think Noyeks in Ballymount sell them. It's worth a phone call anyway.
