... even with a different lead singer since Freddie Mercury is dead.

I know Paul Rodgers sang with them for a while but it wasn't the same.

    Bye.

    Any town!

Far as I'm concerned, no, I wouldn't be interested in seeing an English Queen (I assume thats who the OP is on about really) any more than seeing not wanting to see Jordan or any other person I have no interest in.

lol op tricked the masses of AH

p.s it works better if you put any text in your first post as a quote, that way you don't see it when scrolling over thread title

Pun fail. The band is just called "Queen" - you added an extra "the", so what was a lame gag to start with doesn't even work anyway - double fail, OP.

    The Rats
    The Chillis

Eh, but nobody says "The Queen" - all of your examples are shortened versions of a longer name. Queen is only one word to begin with - DUH! And nobody says "The Maiden" either - it's just "Maiden.

Are you going to see Maiden?

Do you say "The Queen" though? That's the point - and the OP's whole gag depends on it.

I'll give her plane an auld wave as it fly's over the gaff!

Wouldn't risk going to any sort of public gathering to see her though, too risky, same for Obama.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to just visit the old folk's home and slip on a little Glen Miller? Same effect.
