Not sure what forum this should be in. But I am a Eurovision freak.
I've been looking at all the songs on youtube and now want to give you the low down as Marty is useless.

    1. Sweden - funny and god damn catchy.
    2. Azerbaijan - Musical. Steamy performance.
    3. Germany - Lena again from last year. Doing a portishead wannabe song.
    4. France - bookies favourite. Probably the best from a musical perspective but this is the sort of song you want with a live orchestra behind you. You are only allowed 6 people on stage.
    5. UK - Putting forward blue. Good pop song.
    6. Estonia - Singer is a young good looking one. But it sounds like two different songs put together as one.
    7. Turkey and Estonia - Pop rock songs. Turkey's stage performance is crazier.
    8. Lativa - catchy pop song. Would have made top 5 ten years ago. Could be a surprise. Great odds on this. If there's a dark horse this is it.
    9. Of course JEDWARD. A lot will depend on the performance and how well the camera crew work with them. Could make a mess a of it like they did with Dustin (using lone range shots which didn't work) but if they work with the cameras well they're through. I think they'll make top ten.
    10. Israel - former entry. I think she's passed it.
    11. Hungary - fast song but Jedwards and Sweden's are better.
    12. Finland - song about saving the planet. Verses aren't emotional enough. Chorus ok.
    13. Serbia - some great presentations here. a real Dee Lite back drop. Great work with the visuals.

Here's a good blog with the videos of the main songs for you.

Yes I know I'll get slagged over this. But the Eurovision is the greatest show on earth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
