can anyone help here!! i have a problem in a house, the bathrooms have been wired into the lighting circuits surrounding them.instead of being on their own circuits individually.now if they are to pass a reci test am i able to get them certed just on the mcb or what can i do! need an answer. when i put the circuits on an rcbo they keep tripping.i think the neutrals could be mixed up maybe?? this is a head wrecker. the lights are working fine on the mcb and tripping on the rcbo!! any help please!

are the lights actually in the zones-if not they don't need rcbo

also you can change to selv spots if you need to use existing wiring setup

have you done any proper testing at all?

the lights are vapor proof downlights in the bathroom.so i assume thats what you mean are they in the zones.one over toilet , one over shower and one over door.

    elaborate selv spots for me!!

the house is to be reci tested not by me!im qualfied sparks me self but have been workin away for last few years and didnt know the new reg on the rcbos..
