    Guys

Anyone here have on of these , erm bad boys...:p

I am looking into 'maybe' getting one. They have exec and type s models in the 2.4 lump.

just thought anyone might pass comments, I think they are frugal enough for a 2.4 and should do 30mpg, better than a guzzling Is200 anyday.

    bombproof is natural of course.

Why a 2.4 type s? For better performance over the 2 litre? A Euro R might be worth a look then

dont want a euro r, too skangarised or something for my taste,

and I would imagine it would get you 20mpg.

the type s seems more normal and less risque..!

2.4 it may be but its still more economical than most 2 litres out there.

    has anyone actually owned one?

Unless you are doing alot of kms the much higher tax on the 2.4 would outweigh any fuel savings IMO.

A standard euro R looks basically identical to a type S.

The Type S and Euro R are identical on the outside apart from the euro r badges and the double exhaust from the outside. The interior is different alright i prefer the type S interior.

Were did you get the infortmation youd get 30mpg from the 2.4? I find that veyr hard to believe since i drive the Irish Type S which is a 2.0 litre and i dont get that.

Euro R owner here, don't think I've ever had anyone comment that it was too "skangarised",I also get around 30mpg :)
