    Anyone know if a UPC mesh antenna can be used to recive Saorview?

    NO. Different frequency band altogether.

    You will need a UHF aerial suitable for your area.

    UPC MMDS = 2500-2690 MHz
    Saorview DTT = 470-790 MHz
