    any chance of someone around clondalkin that can weld take a look at a small job for me?

    havent welded in years... but that pipes looks too rusted to weld, you need clean rust free metal to get a good weld...
    that pipe doesnt look like it could take been grinded back

    thanks robtri. like i say i'm gonna have to buy a new one but i'm looking at 10 days delivery so the weld won't have to be the best thing in the world, even if i could get a couple of spot welds on it and use an exhaust sealant just to tie me over, other wise it's a 4 hour round trip on public transport for 2 weeks in work,

    from what i have read it's a common problem with them and new exhausts seem to be stainles steel, the metal isn't actually rotten it seems to be a lot of stress fractures from the engine vibrating that causes it. like i say i hope i can get somthing sorted to tie me over.
