I sometimes have the dog in with me but she tends to take over the whole bed, growling if I move an inch. Brat.

They wander in and out but almost never sleep in my bed. They jump in the second I get up to go to the bathroom though.

No because he spends half the day sticking his hairy face into other dogs piss. He's made his choice.

Not through the night, but not unusual for one of the cats to come in in the morning for a sleep while I'm still in bed.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Not during the night, but my dog likes to bound up to the attic in the morning and have another sleep on my bed, after he just woke up.

    Its a dogs life.

as soon as the husband leaves for work the dog sneaks upstairs and hops on the end of the bed, same if he goes to the pub, goes back to his own bed once the lord and master returns at night, or as soon as i get up in the morning

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 667 ✭✭✭Cherrycoke

Yep :) My pup always sleeps in the bed with me, sometimes even under the quilt with his head on the pillow :o He's freakishly human like. His snoring gets a bit out of hand, but at least he can't complain about my snoring ;)

Cat used to come in, in the mornings, head-butt me a few times then stalk my feet like a predator.

Yep, my dog sleeps at the end of my bed. it was grand when he was a puppy but he is huge now and he snores. He finds my feet and rests his head on them. Really cute.

Yes. My dog usually sleeps on the bed with me. If she gets too hot, she moves to the floor where there is a blanket for her and I leave the bedroom door open so she can wander down to the kitchen if she gets thirsty etc. She is always back cuddled up to me in the mornings though. I don't really like her being on my pillow (she has long hair - you work it out) but that's where she lies, so I put up with it. I am grateful to have her and never take her company, loyalty and affection for granted.

I always bring my pet to bed...........Its really cute, first I put Goldy up on the pillow, he starts shaking and throwing himself around with excitement then after a minute or 2 settles down and doesnt move for the rest of the night.

Stoopid goldfish keep dying on me during the night.

Yup, I usually have two dogs and a cat on my bed or scattered around my room somewhere. I feel like Ace Ventura when I wake up every morning.

Meh, it can get messy, but not manky. My dogs and cat are very clean.

Jaysus I'd never bring an animal into the house, never mind the bed.

The dog at home hasn't slept in a kennel in years. She has her choice of beds and people to sleep with. I love it when she cuddles up beside. Our bodies sync together and our favourite position is in between my legs, using my fanny (clothed) as a pillow. I love rubbing my feet on her belly too.

I don't always go asleep with the cat on the bed, but whenever I wake up, he's there. Is lovely and comforting. Also, he snores like a little tractor which is terribly cute :)

Hell no. The last time I even had a dog in the house, he came into the room at 5am, jumped up onto the bed where he proceeded to vomit the content of his undigested dinner (lamb chops) onto the duvet.
Had to strip the bed and redo it in a bleary eyed daze.

Never had any animals really, but I used to stay at my grandmothers house as a child and used to leave the door open at night to let the cat come snuggle up beside me in the earlier hours then at about 8am 2 massive springer spaniels used to barge in and jump on the bed licking me in the face while I wrestled and hugged them. Best thing to wake up to ever! Sadly haven't got to experience that in ages.
At my other grandmothers the little jack rustle used to come up and attack the blanket (really roughly) and drag it all over the place. He just basically went for anything that moved underneath it. Was cute but dangerous at times, he was a thick ****er but I loved him.

My missus does it when I'm not there and I think it's gross, no matter how clean you think they are they are the ones who need to get wormed and flea'd, they stick there noses in each others ****e and lick their own bits any chance they get.

So far I've never seen a dog wipe it's arse either.

    Not hygienic.
