Why THE HELL would any American wanna hike in a warzone/ VERY Anti-American area?? As if America wasn't big enough. I can understand people form The Isle of Man (which is about 12 acres in size) going abroad for hiking trips, but Americans?

The guy on the right of photo looks very Jewish.

Can't speak for the OP but an american in that area would get into trouble. A jewish american in that area (given the relations between Iran and Israel) would instantly be a LOT more suspicious and possibly be in more trouble. Just a guess.
