We are installing a gas hob (oil central heating) and just wondering are you best to bury the incoming gas line in the floor screed?
Someone told me to just run it above the floor (below the kitchen units) but I thought it may have been a better/neater solution to bury it in the floor.

gas pipework must be tested prior to been covered, and also be protected against coorosion as some screeds can be quite corrosive.

+1 on markaarkgas's reply. There are certain requirements for the installation of a gas supply. The line itself must be contained in a duct within the floor and there are conditions regarding the entry into the building being ducted aswell which are all geared around preventing leaks. I'd get a suitably qualified installer to advise you on these before you proceed - a gas line is not something you want to take a chance on:D
