Done to death: Hr-res v standard

Going to be ordering a 15'' glossy mbp today and I'd really appreciate feedback on the hi-res screen v standard.

Ignoring the price difference (€100 or so) what would you go for if you had the choice? Is the text size really that much smaller on the hi res?

I have to say I am a nut when it comes to HD displays, I would spot the difference between blu ray or a HD Channel a mile away, so I am leaning towards the Hi res, but I am a bit put off by the text size issue.

Stock photo. If it's antiglare it will have a silver bezel.

I can't really comment on the hi-res screen. I've only seen one. Looked great though.

I have a high res glossy screen. Although not always popular, I prefer the glossy screen. I've near really had much issues with glare.

As for high res. I'm pretty pleased with it, although I needed to up the font size in a couple of apps, but that's got as much to do with my failing eyesight as it does the smallness of the text.

In the end I opted for the standard res glossy. I don't really like the silver bezel and although i'd like the higher resolution I dont think the small text would suit my eyes.

So can't wait hope this puppy comes before the weekend

The hi resolution screen is very impressive. I would be a fan of the smaller fonts but not the silver bezel.

It would be a difficult decision if I was in the market for a new MBP
