Yes a pump can be fitted however the plumber will need to asses it. Some times depending of the location of the hot press etc its just a matter of running a pump from the cylinder using a surrey flange and then under the floor or through the wall to the taps.

However sometimes the floor is tiled or the joists are running the wrong way and a plumber will fit the pump directly under the bath. This is not a correct way to fit a pump but sometimes its prob the only solution based on cost. If this option is used the life of the pump is shortened due to cavitaion and the pump can sometimes kick in accidently when someting independent of the bath is used like a toilet for instance. This usually means the pump will kick in at night when the kids are in bed.

If you get a plumber to quote you for the job then they will get the pump trade price. A salamander, Aqualisa, monsoon/stuart turner seems to be the leading brands

A few people on here have bought stuart turners from the UK but i am not one to rec this.

Best of luck with the council
