They misspelled Dalglish, head coach of the Liverpool Devils.

And what's 'Liverpool is all in' supposed to mean? All in what?

Bit of a cockup calling them the red devils alright.

Don't see what the big deal is. Anyone getting upset over a little thing like this needs to take a break. Have a kit-kat OP. :)

I'd say he is more amused than upset.

Adidas praise Liverpool 'Red Devils' in Facebook faux pas

Liverpool kit manufacturer Adidas made an enormous Facebook blunder this afternoon after referring to the Merseyside club as the 'Red Devils' on their Adidas Football page.

In addition to paying tribute to the club's run of excellent form by using their hated rival Manchester United' nickname, the mischievious or unknowledgeable person in charge of the Adidas Football Facebook page also misspelled Kenny Dalglish's name as 'Daglish'.

The offending post, uploaded at 2pm today, features a picture of Maxi Rodriguez charging towards the Liverpool faithful after completing his hat-trick in Monday's 5-2 victory over Fulham. The original caption ran as follows:

'33 points for the Red Devils since Daglish took charge and some scintillating football with Maxi Rodriguez scoring his second hat-trick in 3 games'
We haven't bothered to verify whether or not Manchester United have actually won 33 Premier League points since Dalglish retook the helm at Anfield but we're fairly sure it was a spelling mistake on Adidas' part.
The caption has now been corrected on the Adidas Football Facebook page to read 'Reds' instead of 'Red Devils' but amusingly, the Dalglish spelling mistake has still not been corrected as of this writing.

Last month Liverpool secured the biggest kit deal in English football history with Boston-based Warrior Sports, who will kit out the side from the 2012/2013 season onwards after a €28m arrangement.

Perhaps Adidas aren't taking the prolonged break-up too well...
