    From RTE:
Connolly Station has reopened following a security alert in Dublin city centre.

In a statement on Twitter, Iarnród Éireann said the station had reopened with full services resuming subject to delays.

The army bomb disposal team was called out to deal with a suspicious device found on Amiens St, which has now been made safe.

The Defence Forces said the device has been classified as a non-viable Improvised Explosive Device.

It is the fourth IED dealt with by its bomb disposal teams in the last 24 hours, Defence Forces said.

Surely allowing trains to run through was grossly irresponsible considering the nature of the device?

Seemingly the "device" was on Sherriff Street under the bridge under the main station rather than the DART line.

Through services were however suspended subsequently.

The belfast bound enterprise parked itself at Howth Junction Donaghmede during this. I believe buses brought passengers from the city to connect with the waiting train.
