    I just bought some second hand irons and a new driver. What do you think of this for a deal?

    Second hand Lynx graphite shaft - 3 to 9,PW,SW for €125

    New Hippo Hex Big Bertha for €50

    What do you think?

    Are the Hippo clubs any good?

    Probably an OK deal - I would have pushed for an extra £25 off based upon the brands and the fact the second hand market in Ireland is not massive and shops don't give great deals on trade-ins.

    I'm not gonna bad mouth the clubs but for the price you paid u could have gotten a nice set of 2nd hand callaway x-12 or x-14's and they would be a fantastic club compared to what you bought.

    €125 for lynx clubs is far too high.

    2nd hands clubs are ten a penny on sites these days.

    hiya lads, im looking for a decent set of clubs at the moment, any ideas where i could come across those callaways for that price?? cant find many decent sets online in the usual places, if i could get a set for that price id be happy as a pig in you know what lol

    A friend of mine is putting up a set of X-14's on Adverts in the next few days. He got X-22's new yesterday.

    He's selling them for 175euro. That's the minimum price if your interested, pm me and I'll pass on your contact details.

    FFS tell you mate to wise up, you could probably get a set of X22's for just over 300 if you shop around. I'd probably take less for my x20's if I was selling them.

    x-14's were the best club callaway ever made.

    Probably get them for 150euro
