Just coming in on the bus thismorning and i happened to notice a sign on a shop front that said "airsoft" then the name Good Fellows or something like that.

its located at the Amien street/connelly station end of Talbot street beside the news agent at the train bridge where the busses stop. think its Number 55. anyone heard about it?

if its the one i"m thinking of, is it one of those shops that sell cheap tat for your gaff. like light up pictures of jesus and inflatable furniture? .. i saw a steyr aug and a galil in the window i think, but id only guess theyre those cheap brands you used to get up north years ago. suppose for around 30-40 quid its not bad for a wall hanger or a starter gun though :) ,could be a different shop altogether though .

I just went onto Google maps Streetview, although the streets are from last year if I'm right. That image of the shop above didn't exist then (only very recent). I found no other shop with airsoft equipment in its windows or any with advertisements of such.
Then again I could be wrong....maybe even Google...

not its recent, i take teh bus that way every day to work and to be honest itd be hard to no notice that sign. Working in the city and only starting out in Airsoft i thought it might be handy if there was a shop in the city to spend my ample lunch and tiny pay packet, so to se ethere was one opened/opening there would be handy for using an hour of lunch instead of sitting at my desk

Went into this shop on wednesday & it's full of rubbish springers & bad quality bb's. An Asian guy was there opening boxes but all the stock on display was springers. To be honest it's not worth a visit

Kinda this. I nearly walked past this place last Friday on the way to the train. The guy there said they were only open three weeks. I didn't spend too long as I was in a rush, but there was only about two AEGs, a few CO2 pistols (I think), a load of springers, and green gas. Didn't get a chance to pick up the AEGs to feel the quality, and didn't notice whether it was a decent quality one or not (Don't think it was anyway, to be honest.).

actually managed to go in myself yesterday. i was loooking for some mesh goggles and face protector because after my first outing a few weeks ago i was sweating like a weightwatch in a cake factory, and my contacts get really dry so i figured mesh would keep the heat down when i asked if he had any he at first didnt know what i meant (could be my thick accent) then he said he'd have next week. I would have though eye/face protection would have been a must for a retailer to have in stock. I know i would if i opened a store, it like BBs are essential pasrt of the sport

so i asked if the items on display were Battery, gas or spring. he said the ones in the left as you walk in are spring (the majority of his display) the ones on the right a mis of battery and Gas.

I'm new to the Airsoft lark so in general wouldnt know a good manufacturer from a bad one, but i can eyeball something and guestimate teh quality of teh item, I have gone into two retailers mentioned on the irish retailers thread here and to be frank the items on display in the place in Talbot street look shabby compaired to the ones seen in the other places, and also on the one site i've skirmished on. the ones on display in talbot street place look all plastic and to me cheap. Also I noticed the BBs on display are the same ones on display in the newsagents down the road at the 27 terminus, think they are .12g or something like that, yellow BBs.

he also didnt seem to have any face protection on display at all which has me wondering is he actually selling any? the over all impression as a noob to airsoft was this place was actually marketing itself to people that buy for their kids and the kids end up acting the muppet on the street/park/fields with them.

personally i wont be giving him my hard earned cash
