Also, Farmleigh will be closed from tomorrow, Thursday 12 May until further notice.

    The Phoenix Park website says:
Traffic Restrictions as a result of State visits in May 2011

We have been advised by An Garda Síochana of the following restrictions:

    1. There will be strictly no parking in the Phoenix Park from Sunday, 15th May 2011 until Wed, 25th May

    2. There will be restricted access to the Phoenix Park and the possibility of traffic disruption during the above period.

    3. Knockmaroon Gate will be closed on the following dates:

    17th, 18th, 19th, 22nd & 23rd May 2011

and on the 20th & 24th May will not open until 11 am approx.

Further instructions regarding restrictions in the Phoenix Park may issue.

Your co-operation with this matter is very much appreciated.

    Yours sincerely,

    Margaret Gormley,

    Park Superintendent.
