The Upper part of Luce Hall.

Go to Luce hall and continue up the stairs and you arrive at the old sports hall.

Done a few exams in there last week, found it pretty stuffy. Anyway, easy to find - behind the Lloyd and upstairs.

If you don't know where Luce Hall is, you can find it on the map here:

    http://www.tcd.ie/Maps/map.php

Just click 'L' and select it.

You get to Luce Upper through the side door, rather than the main door.

But more importantly... how do you pronounce it?

Is it "loose" or "loo-chay" (the Italian interpretation)?

I was using 'Loose Hall' when I was desperately asking people where it was at 9:35am couple days back, didn't get (m)any pitying looks

I always thought it was "Loose Hall" as it was the old sports hall and since the new sports centre was built it was no longer needed and hence was "loose". At least I got the pronunciation right.

Its named after Prof. John Luce who was introduced as Prof. 'Loose' at my scholars dinner, so it's pronounced 'Loose' :)
