    Hi ,

I went for a gait/pronation test today and was recommended these

    http://www.runnersworld.co.uk/reviews/shoes/stability-shoes/brooks-ravenna-2/60793.html

    or Asics Nimbus

But on my last 3 pairs of runners I have worn off the outside heel and the outside edge opposite from ball of my foot ( so basically on outside of my feet)

The person said I was nutral to slightly over

any thoughts as what I have read seems to contradict his results

As far as I know, everyone wears the outside edge more than the inside edge.

Well ravenna are support shoes and nimbus are neutral shoes from my memory. Never been for gait analysis myself but it seems rather odd to recommend two completely different types of shoe.

Edit: Didn't read the post to see you're neutral to slightly over just looked at shoe recommndations.

Sounds like it was spot on as the Nimbus is one of the more supportive neutral shoes and the Ravena is a guidance shoe which is very similar but a very mild posting.
