Looking for insurance after accident?

    hey there,

    I'm having issues even getting a quote for insurance. i'm 26 and had a minor traffic accident that I claimed on my insurance in the last year. (small fender bender Was settled for 5k after he got some mysterious pains in his back)

    anyway i am now having issues getting comapnies to even quote me car insurance. Anyone in the same position? where did you get ur quote. tried 123, one direct, have a quote from quinn(existing insurer) Any ideas? I have a crap car so I'm just looking for the basic third party?

    Between false whiplash claims and inflated body shop estimates it's no wonder insurance is so expensive here though I believe the UK is catching up fast with all their staged accidents.

    I understand that it's industry practice to refuse to quote people who have had a recent claim so I'm afraid you'll have to take the medicine and stick with your existing insurer.

    I was in a world of pain after my accident. I managed to find semi decent quotes via brokers and not through any of the web companies.
