Garmin Dakota map question

Hi there, I was just wondering if the garmin dakota has a good selection of walks in ireland on its sytem, or if its possible to update these at a later date. I got into hill walking last year and have 20 or so of irelands higest mountains under my belt, however i am now looking to do some of the less well travelled ones,…

Hi there,

I got into hill walking last year and have 20 or so of irelands higest mountains under my belt, however i am now looking to do some of the less well travelled ones, and my orienteering skills suck.
The garmin dakota may be perfect for me.

You can download free topo map with most of irish summits and DEM http://emerald-island.eu/wikka/GpsMap
also garmin birds eye may be handy-part of it its a scan os OSI 50k, with main walks marked on it, you can buy only few sq km - the one you need,so its cheap to try.
