VoIP Security training

    Hi all

Does anybody know of any good VoIP security training courses around Ireland/Uk or at a stretch Europe/USA?

There is the SANS 540 course in VoIP Security http://www.sans.org/security-training/voip-security-917-mid but that does not have any certification at the end of it. That is not the end of the world, but I would have liked a piece of paper to aim for at the end of a 6 day course.

So, are there any other security courses worth doing, bearing in mind I do not have a CCNA so can not go down the Cisco route.

I am looking for generic VoIP security courses that would suit someone doing pen tests, or audits on systems.

To be honest I dont think theres much to it, all you need is something like http://blog.sipvicious.org/ :-)

I think you would be better off learning about IP networks / IP security if you want to secure voice.

Even on carrier networks, they really are not that hard to secure, I think the most difficult part is following process / meeting audit requirements.

Thanks for the input, although since there is a slight chance of a training budget the aim is to get some VoIP training in.
