Must admit I didn't know too much about this film until yesterday when it had it's premier in London so I thought I'd post it here in case anyone's interested

Tells the story of the 70's/80's West Inides team and comes out in cinemas there on the 20th, doubt we'll see it here but it has a DVD release of 6th June so not too long to wait.

Looks like it will be a good documentary. Fantastic team, terrific captain. Such a shame the West Indies of today are sinking with none of what made that team great, no commitment, no pride, no passion.

Just watching the trailer makes you long for the Windies to get back to anything resembling that side. Golden days for fast bowling too!

Saw a short documentary on them on ESPN Classic over the weekend and I'm tempted to agree that they may have dominated more than any team in any sport even if that kind of claim is always based on invalid comparisons.

I'd love to see the film here-any hope of the IFI or somewhere screening it?

Anyone know if there's any plans to have it on in Dublin anytime (or even Belfast)?

The website doesn't list any NI cinema's for its general release but has details on how you can buy the DVD or download online.
