Hair removal cream, to avoid or not?!

I seem to find hair removal more arduous than most. Two days after a waxing, my legs were less smooth than a friend who had just shaved THREE days before that! ugh! But it was a new salon and I won't be returning, seemed to be a worse job than I've had elsewhere.
Still though, my legs seems very sensitive to rashes etc. when I shave
What are hair removal creams like? I use them sometimes for my bikini line as I wouldn't shave there for fear of a horrendous rash! I find the creams ok for there, do some people use them for their legs? They're not that popular compared to shaving, is that because of the time/hassle involved or do they not do a great job?
Also, what products would you recommend for avoiding a rash or ingrown hairs?
    Thanks!

TBH I'd stay clear of them, especially if you have a quick regrowth.

Everyone's regrowth is different. I could get 5 days out of not shaving my legs whereas I've a friend who can't go 2 days so I wouldn't be comparing yourself to your friend who shaved.

Get yourself to a decent salon that does waxing like Brazillia if you in Dublin

I can't afford waxing anymore & use Nair once a week, not great but cest la vie.

    Thanks for the replies
I'm usually happy with waxing results, am not in Dublin but the salon I usually go to is good.
The problem is the 'between' waxing, like I get about 10 days out of a wax but still can't have another done for at least another 10 days, usually longer. I know people say if you keep getting legs waxed the regrowth becomes less or something, but how do people manage while "waiting" for the hair to be long enough to have another wax

So really I was asking about the hair removal creams as an alternative to shaving, i.e. a more regular thing. Although I would wax more regularly if it meant my legs became "accustomed" to it and I didn't have to wait.
All a bit confusing to me tbh! :o
