Teaching in America

    Hi, can't seem to find any solid info on this. Was just wondering does about have any experience or information on secondary teaching in america.

    Qualifications needed, how would one apply form Ireland etc.

    Its done on a state by state basis so you would most likely have to do some sort of exam/training additional to the pgde. Also the job situation is very similar to here as far as I know, we had an american P.E. teacher in the school on exchange and he said the job situation is bad there (he was teaching on the East coast)

    You just go to the admin office for each district and pick up an application for teaching.
