Somehow it dosen't fill me with level of anticipation I had while waiting for the Zack Arias gig. :o

I'm sure it'll be great. Knowing virtually nothing about food photography, I'm bound to pick up some tips.

Anyone catch last nights webcast? I was tied up so I didn't get to catch any of it. Worth a look?

yes and no - it was mostly her [penny de los santos] talking about her progression from photojournalism into documenting the culture of food. there was a wee bit from the editor of saveur magazine that she works for, and a crit of some viewer's shots by her the photo editor of saveur which i enjoyed, i like that mag. you can certainly see that her style matches the mag's. bit of shabby chic, bit 'crusty' as she calls it.

today is much better, as they're actually shooting. but having said that, there's a lot of faffing and standing round taking q's from the internets. and as to what that prop guy with the hat has brought to it i can't say?
