Car VIN check.. saying Error.. Need decoding

    Ok... I've got a problem

    My car doesn't allow a VIN check... As it has a "U" in the tenth digit section of the 17 digits ( u isn't used for model year here in Europe).

    Can any one decode it for me... I've looked online, and Man !!! It's away over my head. I know the last 6 digits means sequence on assembly line.

    Reading accross from 1-17...

    1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11,12,13,14,15,16,17
    S J N F A A E 1 1 U,,1,,,x,,,x,,,x,,,x,,,x,,,x

    Will someone kind out there decode for me please.
