Just a quick question, a friend of mine reckons they wont test a car that is lowered. I got it tested last in August 2009 no bother, is there new regulations since then?

    Cheers

It has to be able to clear their ramps, lifts etc... if it can they will test it, if it cant they wont and it will fail.

Mine was on the limit of getting up on the ramp before I changed the suspension and what I was told was "if you want us to get it up on the ramp for the test we will, but if anything breaks you have signed a disclaimer and it might cause a fail on a sharp object".
To be fair to your man thou he let me go into test centre to get the car up on the lift first time with him and once we spotted there was a few mm clearance he was grand for the rest of the test!

cheers for that, wouldn't say i'll have trouble then so if it cleared the ramp the last time.

I thought maybe some law/rule had changed.
