I'm building a computer for the first time and am a bit worried about compatibility so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I'm gonna be using the box for web browsing, movies, music and pen testing (so I'll be running 2-4 VMs at a time), it'll be running Ubuntu. This is what I've got so far:

- ATHLON II X3
- M4A77TD AM3
- 8GB 1333MHz DDR3
- RADEON HD 5450 512MB
- PIPELINE HD 5900.2 500GB
- Antec High Current Gamer HCG-400
- BLU-RAY ROM IHOS104-32 SATA 4X
- Case

Any critiques, recommendations or general banter welcome. Hell, even confirming that X is compatible with Y would give me a bit of peace of mind before I fork out a couple of weeks wages hoping it'll work

Everything will work together, but is there a particular reason you are ordering from elara? You would save money or be able to get better parts if you ordered from hardwareversand.de

Quick question; is their onboard graphics on that Mobo? The only reason I ask is you didn't mention a graphics card and in another thread someone implied that it did yet newegg says it doesn't. I'm just a little confused over this, can anyone clarify it?

Yeah the H61 chipset has got onboard video. If you want you can go ahead and add a dedicated card if you want, but with no gaming theres no need really.
