Daydream about stabbing people

To start i'm female, mid twenties, have a nice enough job, survivable salary, friends etc. I'm tall, size 10 with long blonde hair. I'm considered attractive and not remotely the sort of weapon weilding thug i feel like i'm turning into. Every now and then i fantisize about attacking people, and hurting them, usually ending in shooting or stabbing them. When the injury is inflicted is where my satisfaction with the dreams end and my mind wanders to something else. The daydreams used to be infrequent, now a couple of times a week. When i reach the end of the dream i feel something like a bit of stress released, i am stressed at the min and will get a lot more stressed shortly. I don't know who or what i am anymore, or if i should ask to be locked up for fear of others safety. I drink a bit but do not do drugs, i never get drunk.

Not sure where to start with asking for help but i guess anything is helpful

OP, this sounds like a very distressing situation for you. However I don't feel that seeking advice here is in your best interests.

I suggest you contact your GP to discuss how best you manage your levels of stress.

    All the best,

    Maple
