Cant send emails!

When i try and use hotmail and send it on my iphone through apple default app it says

"no password provided for smtp:xxx@hotmail.com@smtp.live.com

please go to mail account settings and enter a password"

I have entered my password yet it still doesnt work

I'd say it's the outgoing server. If you go to setting-mail, contacts etc- select mail account and tap on the mail address. Dow the bottom is the outgoing server. Tap on that and then tap on primary server. Enter the password in here and try send mail again

Did you select microsoft exchange when setting up the mail ? If you didnt follow this tutorial
