Flight insurance question?

So I'm planning to go on holiday to Hungary for a week in July (flying with Aer Lingus), however there is a chance I may have a new job by then which would prevent me from going.

As the chance of me getting the job is quite slim I'm still going ahead with my plans, but I was just wondering if it was possible for me to get insurance that would allow me to cancel the flight if I needed to and get refunded. Anybody know anything about this, any help would be appreciated.

Insurance generally covers against you having to cancel due to serious illness or bereavement. You may well find a broker who'll cover getting a job, but I've never heard of it.

Generally an employer will honour the holiday plans of a new employee, but if not at least you'll have a job!

If you cancel your flight you are entitled to apply for a refund of the taxes you've paid. However, Aer Lingus will charge €20 administration fee for each leg of the journey.
