Capture Camera Clip System

Found this posted up on one of my daily video blogs yesterday.

I know there is competition with it, like the B-Grip, but this appears to be more versatile. I like that it can be mounted on any strap, even if they are fixed at both ends.

I'll probably get one, I've been using a Digital Holster 10 2.0 bag from thinktankphoto and even though it is a lot slimmer and compact than the competition, it is still too bulky and somewhat cumbersome on long hikes or outings.

This device, along with maybe a neoprene shell or custom shaped rain cover would be perfect for my needs.

It's already reached its investment goal so it will be going into production, you can still invest and preorder one for a discount.

I can already see a few flaws in the design though, there will be some stress on the lens adapter ring as there is nothing to support the lens while moving. Also, unlike the B-Grip, there is no support to stop the lens from hitting your body while moving.

Anyone else got any further c&c's?

Hey L, looks interesting enough, might be alright if you are hiking up the middle of nowhere as the amazing photos you upload show, but my first reaction was that in a crowded city you are just asking for it to be taken

    Hi all,
the b-grip has already a travel kit for attaching on the backpack, it was introduced this year at Milan photoshow. May be they copied it there.

There's a thumbscrew on it that locks the camera in place which disables the quick release.

The majority of SLR users I see around Vancouver at events tend to just the shoulder strap. I hate that shoulder strap, I can never keep the camera in place without having to hold it in place with one of my hands all the time when moving around and bending over.
