I ended up with an emergency appointment at the dentist 2 weeks ago due to horrendous pain in my upper molar (last one at the back) He xrayed and diagnosed abscess and said I needed root canal treatment followed by a crown. So I've been saving up to get it done. This morning, I woke up and I am pretty sure the tooth is…

you will have to get the dentist to look and see is it cracked and if so is it now restorable. Nobody else can help you with this one I am afraid.
