Thanks to all for a good shoot yesterday. This time of year is always tough for attendance with events on elsewhere and students busy with exams, so a turnout of twelve wasn't too bad on the day. The match itself was very tricky. Very strong winds and sharp light changes with lots of shifting clouds kept it very interesting throughout and frankly, the scores achieved on the day were pretty damn good for the conditions they were shot in. I don't have a full list of results, but top three were as follows.

    Sandy Wilson - 574
    David Franklin - 572
    Conor McDermottroe - 568

Was a lot of fun to shoot in those conditions. You don't often get the opportunity to shoot in winds that strong and the light just kept it tough. Hopefully we'll get a good turnout and slightly more civilised conditions for the DURC 50m Open on the 29th now.

I sent an apology for not attending as some of us are in Germany testing at Lapua and competing at Hanover, but we are on course and hope to make it down on the 29th!;)
