Trap racing on the M8

Yesteday Sunday around 1.30pm while entering the M8 at Cashil we got stuck behing 4 pony and traps on the slip, they then proceded to race onto the M8 followed by a blue Peugot full to the gills of children. I duly rang 11850 from my passanger seat and asked for the Guarda in Cashill where I reported the incident.
Now, I respect the traditions of people but this was plain stupid, thick and ignorant, and I hope the ponies, traps,car and children were confiscated from you before you caused an accident.

I'd be surprised if they were reading, I'd be more surprised if the Gardai followed up on it and I'd be even more surprised if the trap racers gave a sh1t about what other road users think.
