Recommendations please.... Need to get car checked out in Dublin before I buy??????

    Ive finally found the car I want, I need to get someone to look at it before I hand over the money!! Can anyone recommend a good mechanic in Dublin, garage is on Naas road so if it was near to there they might do it quicker for me!!! Thanks in advance...:D

    You could try Lucifer. He posts here a bit and is a general mechanic with extra knowledge on Opel vehicles. He's around the Dublin 12 area and quite close to Naas road.

    If it's further towards Rathcoole, you could try John (ford jedi is his username here but I don't think he was able to reactivate his account after the website was down) from http://www.blackchurchmotors.ie again, general mechanic who specialises in Ford based in Greenogue business park.

    I use them both and find them fair, honest and easy to deal with.

    I don't know if they would do something like check a car out for a pre-sale but just ask :)

    Great, thank you. Im conscious of asking people from other garages to look at it, not sure what the proceedure is with that! Im based down the country, so I dont know anyone in the area.
    This will help, thank you. Its a peuguot car just in case that makes a difference! :)
