Jury Duty

I was called for Jury Duty, the thing is it's the same day as my signing day. I can't miss either, but there's no chance I'll be able to sign on before I have to be at the court house, and there's no telling how long I'll be in there. Any ideas?

Call tomorrow and ask if you can sign on a day early and offer to bring the letter for Jury Duty as proof?

If you are late signing on, you can usually go on the following Monday morning, see you own centre for details.

Best idea is to contact your Deciding Officer, their name should be on any letters from Social Welfare Office, and explain to them the circumstances.

It is a genuine reason for missing signing on, they may even be more accommodating than you think
