A quick fix generation

There is a generation of kids growing up with reality shows now who believe that having next to no talent can propel them to stardom status.

I dont think its just the reality shows causing this feeling amongst young people.I know there have always been groupies but I think I read a while back that a large percentage of girls imagined themselves as a wag when discussing their future.

I dont have kids, but if I did I sure as hell wouldnt let them watch Big Brother or other reality tv shows like the Kerry/Jordan car crash efforts.

Do kids aspire to be famous now, even if it is without any discernable talent(looking at ye jedward)How many kids look up to these muppets and want to be like them? Will these admirers forsake their education to persue this "career"?

People who have become famous for idiocy/who theyve shifted/getting their wangs out, dont realise the damage that theyre doing to future generations.Or is it our fault as we watch this drivel and fuel the fascination for being in the public eye?

Back in my day, the done thing was to head west of the Rockies. The stardom and bright lights hit you in the face in Hollywood, the land where the people were as false as their dreams.
