    What is your group of friends like, and where do you fit in?
    I guess there's usually a leader, a stodge, a joker and a retard. I'm probably leaving lots of people out here. It's intriguing though how the politics of groups of friends function. I don't really know which box I tick to be honest. I hope I'm not the retard:o

    Anyways, where do you fit in, and what insights do you have to social groups?

    My group of friends is complicated. There was a group of 4 of us who were really close in 1st year, by second year me and another girl (mostly me at the end) were totally excluded because the group changed, by fourth it split in half again and now its like a hybrid of the original group and my other friends. I'm the leader of the group of other friends but I'm not that close to any of them. The original group though, my only close friend is in it, but I know that I'm not in that group. I'm always on the outside and I know I come second to her other friends. I'm on the outskirts of several groups.

    In terms of my role otherwise, I'm the voice of reason. Everyone shuts up to listen to my opinion on serious issues, mostly because I don't shout :P
