keyboard problems

    when I press p i I get a star symbol .When I press o I get 6,.Can anyone help :confused:

    Does it happen in just your profile or all of them? (if there are more that is). If there is no more user accounts, create a new one and try to type in to a text document.

    Num Lock is turned on.

    Just look for the num lock key, press it and you will b back in action.

    numlk is on the same key as f11 how do I access it

    Try holding Fn (usually in the bottom left hand corner of the keyboard in blue) and pressing it.

    I assume numlock text is the same colour as Fn (if not post your laptop make and model number).
