I did a half marathon last Wednesday.
I would like to do the Sportsworld 5 mile next Sunday.
I aiming for <50min for 10k, and I think it would be useful to try todo <40 for 5 miles.

I went for a run yesterday (10.5km, 1hr) and my legs felt pretty jadded, which is probably not surprising,

Any advice on what I should do this week.

I was thinking of going for 2 runs, but keeping both of them very easy.

Very short very easy runs. How often do you usually train a week? Perhaps even turn first one of these runs as recovery pace (1-2 min per mile slower than your easy pace) and keep these runs below 40 min

    Thanks.
I usually run about every third day.

I should have run yesterdays run at recovery pace, but ended up going at my usual training pace.

I'll do a short easy run on Tuesday and Thursday (30/40 minutes 6min/km) and see how I feel at the weekend.
